Provision of Banking Services for the three Local Authorities.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The main requirements (for all three Councils) which are described in more detail within paragraph 5 are:- - Provision of bank accounts, with scope to group (netting/sweeping) where required for balance, interest and overdraft purposes; - Cash Management, Credit Interest and overdraft facilities applying to bank accounts; - Paying-in facilities for banking of cash and cheques across the Authorities geographical areas e.g. bank branch, mobile banking, post office arrangement, etc. - Acceptance of Deposits from Education Establishments including those accounts not held with the Supplier - Facilitate Change Order requests where applicable - Arrangements for immediate stops on cheques and BACS (Bankers' Automated Clearing Services) payments; - Provision of stationery, such as paying-in books, with Authority referencing numbers where appropriate; - Provision of BACS, CHAPS and Faster payment facilities; - Provision of all statements and vouchers as required by the Authorities (it is the Authorities preference for viewing of all statements and vouchers to be available via online facilities); - Provision of electronic/online banking systems and provision of specified electronic information including data files for back office processing; - Contingency arrangements in the event of bank or internet failures; - Support for treasury management, including notification of daily group net balances and automatic netting and sweeping where required; - Provision of foreign currency exchange and foreign currency transfers; - Coin counting arrangements - Clearly set out client relationship arrangement, including named client contacts; - A clear implementation plan, in the event of a transition to a new banking provider; - Training arrangements for the training of officers in the Authorities of new systems/procedures; - Clearly stated security arrangements and fraud prevention arrangements in relation to banking services. The following facilities could also be included however the Authorities require these to be optional for uptake: - Provision of Purchase Cards - Provision of Pre-paid cards (to replace petty cash, etc.)
