This framework will be divided in to two lots: Lot 1 Portable Gas Detection Scottish Water has a fleet of 880 portable gas monitors which are calibrated and maintained in-house, with complex repairs being outsourced via this contract. The scope includes the repair, calibration and supply of gas monitors and the supply of spares, sensors, gases and ancillaries required to maintain the in-house calibration facility. Lot 2 Fixed Gas Detection Scottish Water has around 145 Fixed Gas Detection systems consisting of a variety of proprietary systems from various manufacturers and suppliers and may be of considerable age. The scope will include the maintenance and calibration of existing hazardous gas monitoring and measurement, leakage detection and audio/visual equipment; the design, commission and installation of new or replacement systems and the decommissioning of existing systems, which are now surplus to requirement. Further, the scope also includes for out of hours support.
