Summary of the contracting process

The NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking providers for Car Parking Management Services across its various hospital sites, including Gartnavel General & Royal Hospital Campus and Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. This procurement is currently in the Tender stage, with submissions due by 31 January 2019. The procurement method employed is a selective tendering process, and interested parties must comply with strict participation criteria due to the nature of this sector, which is considered at risk from serious and organised crime.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in parking management and security services, particularly those with experience in operational compliance with crime mitigation protocols. Companies that are approved contractors with the Security Industry Authority and are members of relevant professional associations, such as The British Parking Association, would be particularly well-suited to participate. Furthermore, those capable of demonstrating financial stability and a robust track record in similar service delivery will have an advantageous position in the tender evaluation process.
