Notice Description

EST is seeking an experienced environmental consultant to support monitoring and analysis of Scottish bus transport emissions. The appointed tenderer will assist Transport Scotland and EST by providing services that will include the following. - The collection of environmental and vehicle specific emission baseline data. - Emissions monitoring using one or more of the following on board vehicle, mobile and temporary fixed emissions monitoring equipment. - Analysis of emissions data to identify record and report changes in environmental and vehicle specific emissions as a result of vehicle retrofitting.

EST is seeking an experienced environmental consultant to support monitoring and analysis of Scottish bus transport emissions. The appointed tenderer will assist Transport Scotland and EST by providing services that will include the following: - Demonstrate and evidence the effectiveness of retrofit technology to Scottish bus operators. - Collect, analyse and share operational data from emissions monitoring equipment to demonstrate real world emissions reduction from the use of the retrofit technology and support CVRAS accreditation - Identify and assess any associated impact on fuel consumption and efficiency resulting from retrofit installation to inform bus operators and subsequent BEAR phases. - Support LEZ monitoring and enforcement. - Understand the logistics of installing bus retrofit technology, to create early findings that will inform subsequent BEAR phases. - Test and, where necessary, refine the funding model to support subsequent BEAR phases.

Renewal: additional 12 months at EST's sole discretion.
