Re-issued Fidddandarry Botanical and Hydrological Monitoring
Notice Description
As part of the Interreg CABB project, BirdWatch Ireland will enact a drain-blocking program on 450 ha of state-owned land at Fiddandarry in the Ox Mountains SAC (county Sligo). As part of the works, prior baseline botanical and hydrological information is required for the site. A monitoring program is also required between 2018-2021 to assess the impacts of the drain-blocking activities during the project and post-restoration in 2021. Advice on the number, location and most suitable type of drain block material and structure is also required. Further advice on other CABB sites in County Donegal will also be sought.
