West Dunbartonshire Council and West Dunbartonshire Council on behalf of West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust is seeking to secure the services of an external contractor to carry out effective diligence services and debt recovery in the pursuit of:Council Tax (including water and sewerage charges);Non Domestic Rates (NDR);Sundry Debt Invoices for West Dunbartonshire Council; Sundry Debt invoices for West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust; Rent Arrears; Housing Benefit Overpayments It is a requirement of the Contract that the Sheriff Officers and Messengers-at-Arms hold a commission to operate in the Dumbarton Court district of the Sheriffdom of North Strathclyde. This must be maintained for the duration of the Contract.

Lot Information

Second Placement Debt Manager

The successful Tenderer of Lot 2 will have the ability to investigate and initiate recovery action from customers with a history of non-payment and will receive cases from the Council where the collection and recovery efforts of the Lot 1 Provider have been unsuccessful following the placement period of 6 months Council Tax, Former Tenant Rent Arrears (FTRA), Non Domestic Rates and Sundry debts which have already been worked on by our current Contractor for Primary Debt Management and will be available for second placement debt management and recovery activities shortly after commencement of the contract.

Renewal: The option to extend annually for up to a maximum of two years, at the sole discretion of the Council

West Dunbartonshire Council and West Dunbartonshire Council on behalf of West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust is seeking to secure the services of an external contractor, Primary debt management and Sheriff Officer Services- primary debt management and recovery activities & enforcement and diligence services in the pursuit of: Council Tax (including water and sewerage charges);Non Domestic Rates (NDR);Sundry Debt Invoices for West Dunbartonshire Council; Sundry Debt invoices for West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust; Rent Arrears; Housing Benefit Overpayments Sheriff Officers and Messengers-at-Arms must hold a commission to operate in the Dumbarton Court district of the Sheriffdom of North Strathclyde. This must be maintained for the duration of the Contract. Sheriff Officer Fees as per The Act of Sederunt, currently in force or any replacement.
