Notice Description
Scottish Ministers through the Social Security Directorate (SSD), are looking to award a contract for the creation and delivery of the face-to-face Assessment Service to support the Scottish replacement benefit for Personal Independence Payment (PIP). This contract is specifically focussed on the design and implementation of the new face-to-face assessments service, utilising the technology solution being delivered in a separate contract and running in parallel to this delivery.

Scottish Government is seeking a Service Provider to: - design the service (through a proposed third party COTS assessments tool) to support Assessments. The requirement includes the service design and development of the business processes and the management of the delivery of the technology solutions to initially support PIP face to face Assessments. - conduct a review and due diligence exercise on the proposed COTS technology solution to deliver the F2F Assessments capability.
