Provision of application and support services to Glow Blogs.
Lot Information
Lot 1
The Supplier will be required to deliver application support services for the Glow Blogs service including the following main elements: 1. Migration to new service provider. The Supplier will be required to provide professional services: - To conduct a due diligence exercise to enable the supplier's support engineers and Service Manager to obtain a detailed understanding of the Glow Blogs application. - All information gathered should be securely recorded and used to form a working knowledge base for the supplier's support team to support the service during the term of this contract. - Engage with our hosting provider to establish a smooth working relationship. 2. On-going support The Supplier will be required to provide operational support and management to the Glow Blogs application. This must include: - Available support between the hours of Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00 at minimum of equivalent of two full days (16 hours) per week and including: - A Client Service Manager (CSM) or Account Contact - Provision of a secure incident management application - Availability of named skilled personnel to respond to requests for service within SLA and progressed appropriately - Monthly incident and timesheet reporting - Attendance at checkpoint service review meetings - Liaison with third parties during incident resolution if required - A single helpdesk contact number - A helpdesk email address Project Management, Development and Deployment support to cover: - Identification and assessment of upgrades and patches to core and third party plugins and themes. - Development of patches and bug fixes to bespoke Glow blogs plugins, where required - Seeking approval from Education Scotland for, and the application of, monthly application upgrades, patches and bug fixes to core WordPress and all plugins and themes. - Fixing of any issues or degradation of functionality as a result of the above. - Ad-hoc / Emergency application of upgrades, patching and bug fixes to core WordPress and all plugins and themes when required - Fixing of any issues or degradation of functionality as a result of the above. Basic Monthly reporting on service performance including but not limited to: - Incident Management; - Change Management; - Helpdesk performance; - Budgetary tracker; - IT Security; and 3. User support The Supplier will be required to provide user support to the Glow Blogs application. This must include: - Second and third line application support for the service including: - Support via telephone and online at hours specified within the support contract - Logging of incidents to resolution within agreed SLAs - Resolution of incidents involving super administrator activities including but not limited to: - Adding a user to a blog - Removing a blog - Generating statistics for a blog or blog pages - Supporting and Managing security concerns - Increasing User Blog storage allocation within the process defined with the customer 4. Exit Management The Supplier will be required to provide general support to facilitate the exit requirements of the Glow Blogs application support service. At the end of the exit period, the Supplier will be required to provide Education Scotland an Exit Report.
