Summary of the contracting process

The NHS Forth Valley is seeking contractors for the "Award of SMS Relocation to St. Ninians HC - Internal Alterations NP827/15" project, which falls under the category of construction works. The procurement process is currently in the Award stage, with a contract award amounting to £204,505.15 signed on 16th October 2018. The tender period began on 5th November 2018 and will conclude on 14th January 2019. This project is located in St Ninians, Scotland, and involves several phases of internal alterations, including the creation of treatment rooms, reception areas, and office spaces within NHS facilities.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses within the construction and renovation sectors, particularly those with experience in healthcare facility improvements. Companies specialising in general contracting, internal fittings, and compliance with healthcare standards would be well-positioned to compete in this procurement process. The structured phases of work also allow for contractors with specific skill sets, such as security systems installation and high-standard decoration, to showcase their capabilities, potentially leading to further engagements with NHS Forth Valley and similar contracting authorities.
