Contract works comprise a general clearance of the site; removing the existing post and wire fence; the excavation of existing peat material currently located within the site; the excavation of a borrow pit and the subsequent filling of this pit with the excavated peat; the distribution and compaction of the fill material excavated from the borrow pit; a final preparation of soils to surfaces; grass seeding of the prepared surfaces; re-routing of existing power lines and the removal of all existing pylons; providing suitable Welfare facilities to comply with the CDM 2015 regulations; securing the site by means of Heras panels.
