Scottish Water is establishing a framework responsible for the supply and distribution of key chemicals throughout Scotland. This is a long term collaborative arrangement to ensure the following benefits Create a collaborative approach to managing the wider supply chain Monitor usage rates Health and Safety support Technical and product expertise Improved customer service Surety of supply Note - Estimated value is calculated over an eight year period (4 year fixed and optional 2 x 2 years of extensions).

Scottish Water is establishing a framework responsible for the supply and distribution of key chemicals throughout Scotland. This is a long term collaborative arrangement. Chemicals required through the framework include but are not limited to: Ammonium Sulphate Caustic Soda (Sodium Hydroxide) Hydrochloric Acid Phosphoric Acid (MSP) Mono Sodium Phosphate (MSP) Poly-Aluminium Chloride (PAC) (Alba 18) Sodium Carbonate Sodium Hypochlorite (Hypo) Sulphuric Acid Citric Acid Sodium Bisulphite Scottish Water will look to optimise the number of suppliers to give best value but reserves the right to appoint a single source supplier if deemed best value.
Renewal: 2 x 2 year extension options at the sole discretion of Scottish Water.
