Notice Description
The State Hospital, as part of NHS Scotland, aims to deliver safe, effective and person centred services and is committed to ensuring our patients are supported to share their views. The current independent Patient Advocacy Service, is based within the Hospital. The Hospital has attached to this notice a short Questionnaire that will inform us about your service offering and indicate to us your interest in prospective future tender opportunities.

The State Hospital, as part of NHS Scotland, aims to deliver safe, effective and person centred services and is committed to ensuring our patients are supported to share their views. The independent Patient Advocacy Service, (operated by an organisation with charitable status) is based within the Hospital. The State Hospital procures this service which is managed by a board of independent directors who provide input on a voluntary basis, and operates within guidelines set out by the Scottish Independent Advocacy Alliance SIAA.. The State Hospital like all public organisations is looking to receive best value within this and all its contracts. Respondents to this PIN notice are asked to be mindful of this, and the hospital welcomes input from experience and innovation of market. This PIN seeks to gain a better understanding of the Patient Advocacy market, which will aid the hospital in future, specification development.
