Summary of the contracting process

West Lothian Council is currently in the Tender stage of the procurement process for the "Children and Families Holidays - West Lothian" initiative, aimed at providing holiday activities for children and young people with disabilities and their families. This open procedure will be conducted electronically, with the deadline for submissions set for 31 October 2018. The service is classified under the general public services category and will take place in Livingston, UK. The budgeting for each of the five Lots included in this framework is explicitly detailed within the Invitation to Tender, and all bids must adhere to prescribed financial limits to be considered valid.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in childcare and support services, particularly those with experience in accommodating young individuals with disabilities. Companies that can demonstrate a solid operational history, appropriate staff ratios, and compliance with Care Inspectorate regulations will be in a strong position to compete for one or more of the Lots available. By engaging with this initiative, businesses can not only expand their service offerings but also contribute positively to the community by providing essential support to families in need.
