The project is the extension and refurbishment of Gorebridge Train Station Building which is listed as Category C. The works comprise of external fabric works which include stone repairs, slate roof repairs and sash window upgrades. The new extension will provide Gorebridge Trust with a new cafe and dining space. The internal refurbishment of the of the existing building includes a new kitchen provision with the ability to provide catering in excess of 30 covers. These works also include new toilets, exhibition space, formation of a bicycle maintenance workshop and a new front counter/ reception provision.
