CalMac Ferries Ltd (CFL) is seeking to award a contract for the replacement of the existing conventional fire alarm system with a fully addressable fire alarm system on two major vessels (Hebredian Isles and Isle of Arran) and replacement of existing panels on four small vessels (Loch Dunvegan, Loch Fyne, Loch Ranza and Loch Striven).

Lot Information

Lot 2 - Major Vessels

The purpose of this Invitation to Tender is to enter into a Contract with a suitably qualified and experienced supplier for the supply, installation, commissioning of a fully addressable marine specification fire detection system for two major vessels. The fire detection systems have been identified as obsolete and are no longer supported by OEM spares or aftersales technical advice.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

Renewal: 48 months with the option to extend for another two 12 month periods
