Lot 1 - Internal Hand and Grab Rails to Residential Properties throughout the Mainland

North Ayrshire Council requires the supply and installation of hand and grab rails to residential properties throughout North Ayrshire Mainland. The contract will effectively respond to the needs of individuals in North Ayrshire who need minor adaptions installed to promote independence and prevent falls. The contract will also encompass general joinery work as part of the agreement e.g. hanging doors, fitting wall mounted shower seats etc. As this contract will include the sharing and processing of personal data, the successful Contractor will be required to agree to a Data Sharing and Processing Agreement with the council prior to commencement of the contract. The resultant contract will be for a period of 42 months and the anticipated start date is 22nd December 2018 until 18th June 2020 with the option to extend annually by two 12 month periods until 18th June 2022.

Lot 2 - Internal and External Hand and Grab Rails to Residential Properties throughout the Isle of Arran

North Ayrshire Council require the supply and installation of hand and grab rails, including path and step alterations as required to residential properties throughout the Isle of Arran. The contract will effectively respond to the needs of individuals on the Isle of Arran who need minor adaptions installed to promote independence and prevent falls. The fitting of external hand rails to residential properties is to provide residents with mobility needs the necessary adaptions to their home that allow them to stay within their own home for as long as possible. The contract will also encompass general joinery work as part of the agreement e.g. hanging doors, fitting wall mounted shower seats etc. As this contract will include the sharing and processing of personal data, the successful Contractor will be required to agree to a Data Sharing and Processing Agreement with the council prior to commencement of the contract. The resultant contract will be for a period of 42 months and the anticipated start date is 22nd December 2018 until 18th June 2020 with the option to extend annually by two 12 month periods until 18th June 2022.
