Notice Description

Framework Agreement for Internal / External Alterations, Minor Extensions (General Building Works) to occupied Non Domestic Properties and full / partial Mechanical and Electrical Refurbishments to Non Domestic Properties (within a short contract duration i.e. school holidays) through out North Ayrshire. Lot 1 - Internal & External Alterations <100k GBP Lot 2 - Minor Extensions and Alteration Work >100k GBP Lot 3 - Mechanical & Electrical Refurbishments Bidders may apply for one, all or any combination of Lots.

Lot Information

Internal & External Alterations <100k GBP

Internal and external (general building) alteration works mainly to occupied school buildings however will be open for use in other non-domestic property types owned by the Council. Typical works may include the following trades;- demolition, builders work, joiner work, plumbing, finishes and decoration, associated external works, canopy installations and drainage.

Renewal: Initial Framework period is 2 years with the option to extend annually for a period of 2 years (1+1) at the discretion of North Ayrshire Council.

Minor Extensions and Alteration Work > 100k GBP

Minor Extensions and alteration works mainly to occupied school buildings however will be open for use in other non-domestic property types owned by the Council. Typical works may include extensions to an existing nursery accommodation together with internal alterations located within a primary school and may include the following trades;- demolition, builders work, joiner work, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, finishes and decoration, associated external works, canopy installations and drainage.

Renewal: Initial Framework period is 2 years with the option to extend annually for a period of 2 years (1+1) at the discretion of North Ayrshire Council.

Mechanical & Electrical Refurbishments

Mechanical Works mainly to school buildings within a short contract duration (i.e. within school holiday periods) however will be open for use in other non-domestic property types owned by the Council. Typical mechanical works may comprise removal and replacement of the existing hot & cold water, ventilation and heating installations, together with any associated builder's work. Electrical Works may comprise removal and replacement of LV switchgear, small power, lighting, external lighting and CCTV installations.

Renewal: Initial Framework period of 2 years with the option to extend annually for a further 2 years (1+1) at the discretion of North Ayrshire Council.
