Summary of the contracting process

The NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is currently engaged in a tender process to procure Patient Transfer Trolleys for various healthcare facilities including Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Royal Alexandria Hospital, and Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The procurement's open procedure allows submissions until 24th December 2018, with bids opening the same day. Successful suppliers will need to deliver the trolleys by 31st March 2019, as confirmed in the tender details. The contract represents a significant opportunity in the health sector, with NHS GG&C looking for a sole supplier to meet specific quality and design requirements.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for businesses specialising in medical equipment manufacturing and supply, particularly those that can demonstrate financial stability and relevant technical expertise. Companies with experience in delivering healthcare-related goods and a strong background in meeting rigorous specifications are particularly suited to compete. The financial evaluation will consider insurance requirements and prior relevant project examples, thus businesses that have established credibility in the healthcare sector are encouraged to apply.
