All M & E provisions including floodlighting and utilities will be constructed by the contractor. The carpet size is 122m x 78m and will comply with World Rugby requirements.

The Council intends to appoint a main contractor to carry out and complete the construction and delivery of the artificial pitch and its associated works. New floodlighting to be provided to a standard suitable for television coverage and flexible enough to accommodate partial use of the pitch and lower levels for training. There is already planning permission in place for the pitch and associated works. The site is within a conservation area and trees to the south and west edges of the site are to be protected. ESPD Question Part 2D Subcontracting: Bidders will be required to confirm whether they intend to subcontract and, if so, for what proportion of the contract. If you intend to subcontract any share of the contract to third parties on whose capacity you rely on to satisfy the selection criteria, you must secure that each subcontractor completes a separate ESPD (Scotland) response.
