Provision of Seven Motorhomes for Mobile Maintenance Team
Notice Description
CalMac Ferries Ltd (CFL) is seeking to award a Framework Agreement for the provision of seven motorhomes to allow the Mobile Maintenance Team to attend the 30 vessels in the CFL fleet to conduct the necessary in-service maintenance. The requirement for motorhomes is due to lack of availability and rising costs of accommodation around CFL's ferry network. The motorhome would replace the necessity of hotel or bed and breakfast accommodation. It is expected that the motorhome shall be utilised up to five days continuously by one person. It is the intention to award the Framework Agreement to a single supplier.

Lot 1
The purpose of this Invitation to Tender is to enter into a Framework Agreement with a suitably qualified and experienced supplier for the provision of Motorhomes for the Mobile Maintenance Team. Tenderers shall submit a cost for purchasing the vehicles outright as a mandatory requirement. Tenderers shall have the option to submit a cost for leasing the vehicles and also monthly rental cost. The evaluation will be conducted on the basis of CFL's chosen option. CFL have the right accept / reject any proposed options. ns. The requirement for motorhomes is due to lack of availability and rising costs of accommodation around CFL's ferry network. The motorhome would replace the necessity of hotel or bed and breakfast accommodation. It is expected that the motorhome shall be utilised up to five days continuously by one person.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
