Notice Description

This contract will include an Annual Safety Check on all equipment (including Landlord's Gas Safety Inspection where required), fully comprehensive appliance service and responsive maintenance for the Employer's commercial heating appliances, associated flues, ventilation, gas pipe work, distribution systems, SAV units, CHP units, thermal solar heating, commercial gas cooking appliances, calorifiers, pumps, valves, electrical control panel, BMS and associated equipment located on the Employer's commercial premises only. All servicing and maintenance to be carried out as per current regulations, manufacturer's instructions and current industry guidelines. The Contract will be split into Service Years, each will consist of 11 month periods.

Tendering Procedure will be part of a Best Value Submission. All tenders will be held binding for a period of THREE CALENDAR MONTHS from date of receipt. The Association does not bind itself to accept the lowest, or any Tender and no allowance will be made for the costs of preparation of the same. The Association reserves the right to cancel the process at any time and/or seek fresh Tenders if necessary. Any Tender received later than the time and date fixed in the 'tendering procedure' will be disqualified. The Association will carry out a best value evaluation, this will be a 60:40 Quality/Cost analysis as follows; The first stage will be an evaluation of the ITT questions as per the guidance in Section 5 of the ITT. The second stage will be a summed assessment of the tendered Price towards a Total Price Score (40%). Should it be deemed necessary there may be a further assessment by means of post tender technical interviews, at which there is likely to be Employer/Employers Consultant involvement, to examine in more detail the issues covered within the Tenderers Method Statement and the impact in terms of the successful day to day operation and management of the Contract to ensure the provision of a high-quality service for the Employer and tenants, customers and residents of the Employer. It shall be noted that only those Tenderers who are considered successful from second and third stages, will be invited for interview. Tenderers shall note that following the interview, the Employer may also wish to visit Tenderers offices and yard/depot prior to making a final decision on the Contract award. Note* Interviews will be at the sole discretion of the Client.
