Notice Description

The purpose of this exercise is to seek notes of interest from the market for the provision of catering services at Clydebank Town Hall to support a range of internal and external events at the venue including weddings, conferences and celebrations. The skill and capacity exists in-house to provide bar and buffet style food for functions however, the Council is seeking to appoint up to three specialist contractor/s to cater for clients seeking provision of sit down meals and silver service. The successful supplier/s will provide catering services for events held at the Town Hall with a focus on sit down meals and silver service. The provision of bar services for events, civic hospitality and buffets for small scale events, meetings and conferences is not included in the contract and will continue to be provided by the in-house team. The nature of the events held at the Town Hall means that typically these are booked months if not years in advance. On occasion, it may be necessary for the contractor to respond at short notice to requests which are only received weeks in advance. Catering services will incorporate hot and cold meals prepared using fresh, quality ingredients to a high professional standard and suitable for a variety of dietary, cultural and religious requirements. The intention is to appoint a minimum of 1 supplier and a maximum of 3 suppliers to ensure a wide range of services are available.
