West College Scotland is seeking to create a framework agreement to provide a vehicle for the procurement of mechanical and/or electrical engineering consultancy services to support the management of a range of refurbishment and maintenance projects.

West College Scotland is seeking to create a framework of specialist Mechanical & Electrical Consultants to support with the management of a range of refurbishment and maintenance projects to be undertaken across our Estate. The majority of projects will involve the refurbishment of our existing estate, or historic backlog maintenance. The range of specialist services required will include;- completing surveys, producing reports and recommendations, preparing designs and specifications; producing scope of work and specifications to support tender processes and overseeing the implementation of any works associated with the full range of our Mechanical & Electrical installations. West College Scotland is Scotland's largest Further & Higher education Colleges, occupying 80,000sqm of accommodation across the region and with principal campuses in Paisley, Greenock and Clydebank. We have approximately 25,000 students, 1,200 staff and an annual turnover of 54M GBP.. Call-offs can either be made through a direct award on the framework, or procured by using a mini-competition process in the case of larger or more complex projects. Framework suppliers will be informed of upcoming mini competitions on this framework via the Public Contracts Scotland portal.
