Provision of Managed Transport Service
Notice Description
The Board requires a Service to transport passengers and urgent packages in a timely, efficient and economic manner. Expected annual requirement for journeys is approx. 112800. Journeys stated below are for indication only and are not binding on NHSGG&C. Lots, Area Cover and approximate journeys per month are listed below:- Lot 1 - Glasgow & East Dunbartonshire - 4000 Lot 2 - Glasgow South & South Lanarkshire - 4000 Lot 3 - Renfrewshire - 600 Lot 4 - Inverclyde - 350 Lot 5 - Blood Transport (Board Wide) - 450 This business sector is at risk of infiltration by serious and organised crime (SOC). The contracting authority has therefore enhanced its criteria to participate and has implemented its SOC mitigation protocol. Economic Operators must comply fully with the conditions for participation set out in section III.1 below and read them in conjunction with the European Single Procurement Document which is provided via the Public Contract Contracts Scotland Tender portal link.

NHSGG&C covers almost 400 different locations across the Greater Glasgow & Clyde Area.
