Notice Description

Argyll and Bute Council has a requirement to enter into a Framework Contract(s) for the Provision of Serviced Accommodation in Helensburgh and Dunoon

Lot Information

Provision of Serviced Accommodation in Dunoon

Provision of 10 en-suite rooms, available for placements 365 days of the year, 24 hours per day. HMO requirements and other regulatory requirements must be met. The following required as a minimum: As a minimum standard, establishments must:- I. Have adequate heating as per current HMO requirements II. Have adequate supply of hot running water provided to all wash hand basins, baths and showers at all times III. Have en-suite facilities in all rooms - Communal facilities will only be considered where no en-suite facilities are available IV. Concierge/Security staff service present at all times V. Provide an adequate number of beds or cots and storage for clothes and personal items in rooms VI. Provide adequate cooking facilities as per HMO requirements VII. Provide adequate crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking utensils VIII. Have adequate dining space with adequate tables and chairs for residents to use. Dining space does not have to be large enough to accommodate all residents at one sitting IX. Provide keys to residents and access to rooms will be available at all times X. Ensure that all bedrooms will be cleaned at least once a week XI. Ensure that all bed linen will be changed at least once a week XII. Ensure that clean towels will be provided at least once a week XIII. Ensure that toilets and bathroom areas will be cleaned at least once a week XIV. Make cleaning materials available for Clients' use. Economic operators may be excluded from contracting with the Council if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Information on this will be collected during prequalification.
