The Council required a hosted fleet management solution to streamline the recording and monitoring of operational data. The system should enable a better return on investment in the Council's fleet in terms of time, money, productivity, safety, data analysis and reporting. The system will also support compliance with the Traffic Commissioner's Operating Licence and integrate with the Council's other electronic management systems, e.g. financial. The Council's Fleet Improvement Programme identified a requirement for operational improvements through the exploitation of technology and it is hoped that the new system will facilitate more proactive work and allow the Council to manage the fleet management process as efficiently as possible, minimising the time required to carry out routine tasks. The system must be able to monitor the whole life-cycle of the Council's fleet of vehicles and assets.

Renewal: Option to renew for 12 months and again for a further 12 months i.e. 2 years total.
