Notice Description

The purpose of this Tender Process is to award two national Contracts for the provision of branded work wear, one for Forestry and Land Scotland and one for Scottish Forestry staff throughout Scotland. We are looking for a design led managed service for work wear which is "fit for purpose" for the roles and activities undertaken by the organisation's staff and ensures staff are identifiable and can proudly represent the organisations when in contact with the public.

Forestry and Land Scotland

Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) will operate primarily on a commercial basis, including the production and sale of timber, and its land management responsibilities will include renewable energy, agriculture, community projects, conservation, recreation and tourism. This work is currently carried out by Forestry Enterprise Scotland,an agency of the Forestry Commission and will transfer to FLS when it is established on 1 April 2019. This Lot is for the provision of branded work wear for FLS staff. Products include but are not limited to; waterproof jackets and trousers, polo shirts, fleeces, trousers, and some accessories. The purpose of this contract is to provide a suitable outfit for staff to provide protection from external environments and represent the FLS Brand. Therefore supplier must provide the full range of required products as detailed in the specification .. Economic operators will be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of The Public Contracts (Scotland)Regulations 2015. All pricing must be exclusive of VAT. Any costs not included will be presumed to be waived. All criteria and supporting documents are available within the PQQ and subsequant ITT in PCS-t.

Options: During the contract, FLS may decide to add to, upgrade and/or adapt its work wear requirements to take advantage of new technologies, ensure products give staff optimal functionality when carrying out their roles, and to compliment and reflect the organisations vision, policies and commitments. Any additional items not listed will be reviewed by mutual agreement and subject to a written Variation of Contract.

Renewal: The contract opportunity is for a five year contract with the option to extend for two further two year periods ( four year extension in total)
