Framework Agreement for the Provision of Supplementary Repair & Maintenance to Vehicles & Plant
Lot Information
Vehicle Recovery
Falkirk Council requires a vehicle recovery solution to be incorporated, in order to support our internal Fleet Services. The vehicles in the solution where possible, should be taken to Dalgrain Depot or by prior agreement will be removed to the Service Provider's yard.
Vehicle ServicingFalkirk Council requests submissions for additional vehicle servicing (over and above what is completed by the in house Fleet Services department), consisting of standard and actual job content to our agreed standards. The service provider should be able to collect and deliver when requested and costs involved in this should be advised and agreed.
Tail LiftsFalkirk Council requires cover for the breakdown and servicing of Tail Lifts incorporated in our fleet. The service provider will be required to attend at road side and depots both within and outwith working hours. Pricing for this should be provided and all work will be authorised by Fleet Services before it is undertaken by service provider.
Body & Accident RepairsFalkirk Council is looking to establish an agreement for Body & Accident repair of Council vehicles that cannot be repaired by our in house Fleet Services department. We would expect service providers to respond and attend for an estimate to be obtained within 48 hours of the request. The estimate should be completed and returned within 24 hours of that time. Work where practicable should be commenced within 48 hours of the order being received from Falkirk Council authorising the repair to be done. If work can be completed on Falkirk Council premises, this will be agreed in advance of repair.
