Notice Description

Aberdeen City Council require the establishment of an external contract for the provision of Structural Engineering Services for housing projects and to supplement the Council's in-house resource for non-housing projects to run for a three year period from 1st October 2019, with an option for the Council to extend the contract for a two further periods each being of one year duration. The appointed consultant will be expected to provide a professional Structural Engineering service as part of a team comprising either a mix of other external professionals or Aberdeen City Council's in-house disciplines.

The works are being procured using the competitive open procedure.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015

Renewal: The Council shall have the sole option of extending the contract for a further period of up to 2 years after the expiry of the initial term, this being for a period of 1 year plus 1 year.
