"description": "This Market Engagement Questionnaire and accompanying Background Document are being made publicly available to any organisations interested in the Telephony Supply & Maintenance for the Scottish Ambulance Service (the Service). This exercise is intended to provide potential bidders with the opportunity to view and comment on a Background Document for the Telephony Supply & Maintenance requirement, if they wish to do so. This builds on a commitment to engage with the market, by sharing information and seeking input from the market to enable us to develop the final Invitation to Tender (ITT) in a fair and transparent manner. This exercise is to ensure that the final Invitation to Tender provides all tenderers with a clear understanding of the Service's requirement and help reduce the number of questions that may be raised in the Tender Period. This Questionnaire is being issued in conjunction with the Telephony Supply & Maintenance Background Document, which potential respondees should refer to. Our existing Telephony Maintenance contract expires in September 2019, and to ensure the continued resilience of our network, we will require a suitable supplier to support our existing network, and its planned and prospective expansion. It is anticipated the new contract will be a Framework Agreement, to allow flexibility of supply of both goods and services. The new Framework Agreement is expected to require supply of goods, installation of those goods, and maintenance of both existing and new equipment. Further details are provided within the Background Document. Potential bidders are invited to complete the Questionnaire and submit their responses no later than 16:00 on Monday 8th April 2019. Responses should be sent to Jenna Ward jenna.ward@nhs.net .
