Renfrewshire Council wish to appoint an experienced and multi-disciplinary consultant team to facilitate and prepare a vision and framework for Ferguslie Park. The commission seeks to deliver a community led framework which balances vision with deliverability, inspiring ownership of proposals and support from the local community, stakeholders and funders to assist in delivery of actions. This will require a comprehensive and creative programme of community engagement to inform a spatial framework. Actions are anticipated to deliver benefits in relation to place making, design and overall enhancements to support physical, social, cultural and economic change. The commission sits within the wider context of cultural regeneration across Paisley. The framework provides a strong opportunity to support and embed creativity in the community in developing a vision and actions. It is anticipated that the successful consultant will demonstrate a track record in:- - Creative and innovative engagement, capturing stories and aspirations of local communities; - Production of plans, frameworks and spatial representations of aspirations in a manner which is creative, highly visual and easily understood; - Facilitating delivery of outcomes through community development activities.
