Social Security Scotland has a requirement to procure a technology solution that will implement, operate and host the assessments service. The core functions of the dedicated assessment IT will need to: 1. Receive referrals from the core benefit processing platform 2. Enable task management, queue management and workflow 3. Enable case management 4. Enable Health care professional to provide advice 5. Enable completion of an assessment, both for desk based and face to face assessments 6. Enable offline completion of assessments and advice when assessors are in peoples homes or locations without connectivity 7. Enable evidence, assessment and advice to be captured in a structured way for subsequent document creation before generating a referral back to the core benefit system
