The University of Stirling invites suppliers to tender to supply, install and support a Placement Management System.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The University requires a software application that supports its business requirements in respect of academic placement management and administration, including enabling the University to collect data on placement providers and report the success factors associated with how faculties/departments are working with placement providers. Critically, the software must integrate effectively with the University Student Records System (Tribal: SITS) in order to deliver an automated and adequately configured HESA data return and with the NHS Scotland system, Quality Management of the Practice Learning Environment (QMPLE). The key objectives of the project are to deliver: An effective system infrastructure within the University which meets the business requirements of: faculties in respect of academic placement management and administration; the Careers and Employability Service in respect of non-academic placement management and promotion; the statutory student data return to HESA. Effective interface / flow between component aspects of this infrastructure to facilitate the efficient preparation of data as required for statutory data reporting purposes.
