West College Scotland requires service providers who can conduct diagnostic assessments of Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) - dyslexia. Due to the specialist nature and flexibility required to deliver this service coupled with the level of demand in the market and the providers ability to service it has been decided to tender for a single user framework contract. A written report should be generated and provided electronically for each diagnosis that enables other professionals to use as a basis, for example when: -Evidencing an additional needs with regards to the Students Awards Agency for Scotland Disabled Students Allowance (SAAS - DSA) -Assisting with the SAAS - DSA Needs Assessment process by providing the Assessor with recommendations and strategies to be included in the support of the applicant with their studies. -Providing a diagnosis that enables the provision of Alternative Assessment Arrangements (AAA) in compliance with regulations as set by the examination bodies such as; Scottish Qualifications Agency (SQA), City & Guilds (C&G), Construction Industries Training Board (CITB) etc. At present the College conducts over 100 assessments per academic year with the peak of activity during the period September to May. Assessments are currently conducted across each college campuses (Paisley, Greenock and Clydebank) and this arrangement will continue. The successful service providers must be able to travel to each campus to carry out assessments although the college will ensure assessments are grouped together at each campus where possible.. Service providers must attain a minimum overall evaluation score of 60% to be award a place on this framework.

Renewal: This contract is for three years with the option to extend for a further 12 month period. The extension period is included in the above contract duration.
