Delivered Van Loads
Delivery of Van Loads of Waste to Contractor premises by the Authority, the Contractor will weigh the vehicle prior to, and following their unloading of waste, to confirm the waste tonnage. The Contractor will remove the waste from the vehicle, segregating and recycling materials accordingly.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

The framework consist of 2 Lots: - Lot 1: Skip Hire - Lot 2: Delivered Van Loads This is a framework agreement to which a maximum of up to 5 contractors will be appointed. "description": "1. All organisations must be registered Waste Carriers, and the waste collected must be disposed of/recycled in appropriately licenced or exempted waste management facilities. Tenderers are required to provide their Waste Carrier Registration Number, Waste Disposal / Recycling Facility Licence / Registration or Exemption Numbers, by completing Section 2 of Document 3: Duty of Care. The evidence provided will clearly highlight the name of organisation, the relevant certification, valid date and/or expiry date. Where the evidence provided does not clearly highlight this information to the satisfaction of the Authority, this evidence shall be deemed non-compliant and rejected. 2. Driver CPC Training for Qualified Drivers (Lot 1 Only): Tenderers will provide the relevant certification that all driving operatives proposed to be undertaking Skip Hire delivery/ uplift service are qualified in Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), to the Authority with their tender bid. These certificates and qualifications shall clearly identify the proposed individual and clearly evidence the qualifications of proposed driving operatives, such as CPC / DQC Card to the satisfaction of the Authority. Where the evidence does not clearly highlight this information to the satisfaction of the Authority, this evidence shall be deemed non-compliant and rejected, at the sole discretion of the Authority. Please refer to Appendix B for further information. 3. It is a requirement of this tender that if the Bidder is UK based they must hold a valid registration with Companies House. Where the Bidder is UK based but not registered at Companies House they must be able to verify to the Council's satisfaction that they are trading from the address provided in the tender and under the Company name given."
