1. Architectural support for Work Stages 4-8 of RIAS Scottish Conditions of Appointment Schedule of Services, using the existing proposals that have secured consent as a basis for design. The Architect should also provide Principal Designer services under the CDM Regulations (item 13.1 on the Schedule of Services). 2. Structural Engineer input into the site design and building design. 3. Quantity Surveying (QS) support including tender preparation, working with Architects to prepare and advertise the tender, advise the client on tender acceptance, contract management with Architect, evidencing works completed for grant claims and financial project management 4. Environmental consultancy support for the works, including liaison with SEPA and other relevant agencies 5. Energy consultancy All fees to exclude VAT, expenses and disbursements. All disbursements (for example, warrant fees and SEPA applications) should be separately identified in the tender.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The Isle of Gigha has been in community ownership since 2002. The island is owned by the Isle of Gigha Heritage Trust (IGHT) who manage the island on behalf of the community. The Trust have undertaken numerous projects since acquisition, including housing refurbishments and development; business units in partnership with Highlands and Islands Enterprise; pontoon and moorings; managing holiday cottages; and installing 4 wind turbines. The Trust has now secured funding from Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) and the Rural Tourism Infrastructure Fund (RTIF) to develop a site near Ardminish ferry slip for camping and motorhome parking. The site will also include a building that will provide toilets, showers, kitchen and office facilities and a new access from the island road. An initial scheme has been prepared which has secured planning consent. Plans are attached below for reference and also available on Argyll and Bute Councils website. The Planning reference is 18/02685/PP. The project funders now require that the full design team is procured through Public Contracts Scotland. The design team contract will be commissioned to provide the following services to IGHT: 1. Architectural support for Work Stages 4-8 of RIAS Scottish Conditions of Appointment Schedule of Services, using the existing proposals that have secured consent as a basis for design. The lead consultant will liaise with Jane Millar, Business Development Manager at IGHT. Her details are given below. The lead consultant will procure the services of the other consultants identified above. Individual consultancy commissions will however be with IGHT who will enter into individual contracts with each consultant. The lead consultant will act as Project Manager for the individual consultancies. The lead consultant will prepare a contract for the commission to be approved by IGHT.
