Highland Food and Drink Innovation Network - Phase 1
Notice Description
The Highland Food and Drink Innovation Network is the catalyst for creating market and sub-sector focused collaborations, within industry, academic and research institutes and with public sector partners. It is expected that these services will be required from September 2019 for an initial period of 2 years, with HIE having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 1 calendar year following the Initial Term. The total budget currently available to deliver this service (including any potential extension period) is between GBP120k and GBP150k (excluding VAT).

Lot 1
HIE requires a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to establish the Highland Food & Drink Innovation Network comprising of industry leaders, small-medium sized food & drink producers (primary and secondary), supply-chain businesses (such as equipment, packaging, logistics), public sector and academic partners, and consumers. The Network will consist of: - A showcase of opportunities for food and drink and associated supply chain businesses looking to grow; - A growing community of like-minded businesses and stakeholders; - A programme of themed activities designed to inform, inspire and support;. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.
Renewal: The Contract will be awarded for an initial period of 2 years with HIE having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 1 calendar year following the Initial Term.
