Summary of the contracting process

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is planning a procurement process for a framework contract titled "Fire Alarm Maintenance and Repair and Fire Alarm Testing." The contract is categorised under the Health industry and will be conducted across various sites in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde region. Interested suppliers should submit their expressions of interest by the close of business on 14 October 2019, following the initial market consultation anticipated to start on 14 November 2019. The total estimated value of the contract is £2,200,000, and the procurement method falls under traditional tendering processes, aligned with public sector regulations.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for companies specialising in fire alarm maintenance and testing services. Businesses that provide either closed or open protocol fire alarm systems, alongside those offering reactive repair services, will be well-suited to compete in this framework. The structured nature of the lots allows bidders to engage selectively or for multiple offerings, further enhancing potential for business growth within the public health sector in Scotland.
