Notice Description

East Renfrewshire Council is looking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced contractor(s) to a measured term contract for the council's winter gritting operations. Lot 1 of this contract is for the provision of Winter Maintenance Services to implement a gritting regime that will allow safe access and egress to Council properties during periods of winter weather at or below zero degrees centigrade. Lot 2 of this contract is for the provision of Winter maintenance plant, equipment and drivers/operators to enable East Renfrewshire Council to fulfil its statutory duties and comply with its Winter Maintenance Policy and Procedures in respect of its adopted road network.

Lot 1 - Paths/Pavements/Car Parks in Council Buildings

This contract is for the provision of Winter Maintenance Services to implement a gritting regime that will allow safe access and egress to Council properties during periods of winter weather at or below zero degrees centigrade.

Renewal: This framework has the option to extend a further 2 x 12 months at the Council's discretion.

Lot 2 - Public Roads within East Renfrewshire Area

This contract is for the provision of Winter maintenance plant, equipment and drivers/operators to enable East Renfrewshire Council to fulfil its statutory duties and comply with its Winter Maintenance Policy and Procedures in respect of its adopted road network.
