This will relate to monitoring the efficiency (including costs) of extended supply chain, and the delivery of goods and/or services by them. Development - selection of suitable suppliers of raw materials etc. required for the efficient and effective delivery of works. This will include a summary of how you develop your pricing, delivery and payment process, and build a strong relationship with your suppliers. Manufacturing - (as applicable) the production, testing and packaging of goods, and getting ready for delivery to site. This will include a summary of how you measure product quality levels, production output and productivity. Bidders should provide adequate examples that show no more than three examples of the organisation's prior experience for each of the 4 Works Elements, of relevance to each of the 7 Professional Disciplines (e.g. Contract Director, Project Manager etc). Bidders are to use the template provided in the Technical Envelope using no more than 3 sides of A4 per example. Bidders are to number each example. Bidders are also to complete the summary table to cross reference the example numbers to the Professional Disciplines to ensure evaluators clearly understand the relevance of each example. Bidders should note that if less than 3 examples are provided for each Works Element per Professional Discipline, the achievable score will be less than the maximum 12 points noted in the ESPD Supporting Document. Bidders may: - Elect to provide individual examples for each Professional Discipline; or - Elect to provide examples that cover multiple Professional Disciplines so long as they indicate the relevant Professional Disciplines and practitioner organisations within each example."
