ANGUS COUNCIL

This public procurement record has 1 release in its history.

Summary of the contracting process

Angus Council is planning to establish interest for the "Intensive Support Service" aimed at supporting young individuals aged 12-16 in the Angus region of the UK. This procurement process is currently in the planning stage, with a planned future notice date set for 2 March 2020. The estimated value of the contract is £475,000 GBP, with a contract term anticipated to begin on 1 May 2020 for a duration of three years, plus an option to extend for up to two additional years. The contract involves providing various support interventions to help young people remain in their communities and facilitate early discharge from accommodation.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in social services, mental health support, and youth engagement. Companies with experience in working with at-risk youth, particularly those who can demonstrate a local presence in Angus and have expertise in behavioural management or trauma-informed care, would be well-suited to compete in this process. Engaging with the council early on could provide valuable insights to tailor services effectively, and potential bidders may also benefit from an engagement event scheduled for September 2019, where further details will be shared.
