Notice Description
The Council are seeking to secure the services of an external service provider to conduct Debt Management & Diligence Services which includes Debt Recovery and Sheriff Officer Services. The contractor will be responsible for the timeous, effective and accurate collection of debt using effective diligence methods which comply with the appropriate legislation and instructions from the Council in order to maximise their collection rate.
Lot Information
Finance and Corporate Resources - Benefits & Revenue Services
The contract will be utilised by Finance and Corporate Resources, Benefits & Revenue Services who will be the lead Resource in relation to debt recovery and diligence services in respect of Council Tax, Non Domestic Rates, Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), Rent Arrears and Sundry Debts.. Bidders can bid for one or both Lots as they see fit to bid.
Renewal: The contract from this procurement will be awarded for 3 years with an optional 2 year extension subject to satisfactory performance, financial standing and available funding.
Community & Enterprrise Resources - Parking & Streetwork ServicesCommunity and Enterprise Resources will utilise the contract for debt recovery and diligence services in respect of penalty charge notices and streetworks fixed penalty offences.. Bidders can bid for one or both Lots as they see fit to bid.
