KMCL requires the services of suitably qualified and experienced Interpretation Project Manager/contractor/s to manage the development and delivery to completion of the interpretation work strand of a 7 million GBP redevelopment of Kilmartin Museum.

Project Management Overall Project Management and co-ordination of the development and installation all interpretation elements of the project from appointment to the opening of the new Museum including: - overall responsibility for letting of the main design and build contract with Bright 3D - further development of the interpretive offer and exhibition design - oversee content development - lead the cost estimate review of the interpretive budget - undertake production schedule review - lead design development meetings - oversee development of the Digital Strategy - oversee development of the interactive strategy - oversee digital content procurement and production with Bright - oversee production and sign off of final exhibition copy and art work - oversee fit-out procurement (including value engineering) - oversee exhibition production and installation. Reporting and Liaison The IMP will be responsible for: - organisation and attendance of Interpretation Advisory Panel meetings - liaising with the Capital Programme Manager and the Project Co-Ordinator - Reiach and Hall architects and other members of the design team around the interpretation elements of the project - liaison with external bodies, funders, and stakeholders as necessary - co-ordinating and facilitating work between Kilmartin Museum staff, Bright 3D and others as necessary - procurement and letting of any other contracts related to the interpretive elements of the project - incorporating feedback from Education Team Advisory Panels. Grants and budgeting The IMP will be responsible for: - overseeing the interpretive budget and cost control process to ensure that the work is completed within budget - assisting the Finance Manager and Project Administrative Staff with grant reporting as necessary - overseeing the interpretive budget and ensuring that the work is completed within budget - assisting the Finance Manager with cash flow management.
