Notice Description

Zero Waste Scotland wishes to procure services for the provision of food and drink waste advice and support free of charge to businesses in Scotland.

Lot Information

Manufacturing and Retail

The service to be provided through this Lot is intended to support businesses operating within Scotland's manufacturing and retail sectors establish baseline data in terms of current food and drink waste generation, identify opportunities to prevent (or reduce, where appropriate) this generation and realise cost and carbon savings, and prepare case studies and guidance documents that can be used by other non-supported businesses to target similar improvement opportunities. Zero Waste Scotland anticipates the appointment of a single supplier (the 'Framework Contractor') to this Lot. Key elements for delivery include: a) On-site food and drink waste audits b) Implementation support c) Information gathering for case studies and guidance documents Further details are provided in the Tender document.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

Renewal: This agreement may be extended by up to a further two (2), 12-month periods, subject to satisfactory performance, continued funding and prior agreement between Zero Waste Scotland and the Contractor.
