Inverclyde Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified consultancy team to prepare a development strategy for the 'Eastern Gateway' area of Port Glasgow with a view to enabling housing led regeneration. This study will ensure a joined up vision for the area is articulated, taking a holistic view of multiple key sites located within the Eastern Gateway. This is with a view of encouraging multi-tenure development and encouraging repopulation within Inverclyde. The study will be informed by an analysis of the existing land use strategy, site deliverability, land valuation, market appraisals, an assessment of the housing market and local housing need and demand.
