The tender is for the provision of weather forecasting services including the provision of weather radar for the Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils' consortium (FSC consortium). The FSC Consortium wishes to undertake a tendering process to enter into a Single Framework Agreement with forecast provider who must be capable of downloading and interrogating hourly reports from FSC weather stations. The forecast provider must provide view of the camera images from the sites which have cameras. -The successful service provider will be an interactive partner capable of working with the FSC Consortium forming a partnership and assisting in the decision making process for the delivery of winter gritting operations. -The forecast is for 4 zones Stirling Urban, Stirling Rural, Clackmannanshire and Falkirk Council areas. -Short range forecasts, including site specific graphs will be required from 1st October to 30th April each year. -2-5 day medium range forecast for each zone will be required from 1st October to 30th April each year. -Stirling and Falkirk require a 5/6 day summer forecast from the 1st May until the 30th September each year.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
