The key specification requirements included: five door electric car, minimum range of 200 miles and with safety features. The specification requirements align to the assessed business requirements which reflect the operational demands and usage expected. In particular a full charge range is important to minimising recharging cycles given the limitations for local charging infrastructure for key service users. The European New Car Assessment Programme safety standard was considered a comparable industry standard approach.. Mini Competition conducted via Lot 1 - leased passenger and commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes with related lease management services of Crown Commercial Services' ("CCS") Vehicle, Lease, Fleet Management and Flexible Rental Solutions Framework Agreement, reference RM6096.
