Lot Information

Lot 1

Expressions of interest are invited for the tender for the provision of a Learning Management System. Two case studies demonstrating a LMS on the same size and scale should be submitted with your register of interest. To register interest, the supplier must demonstrate they have the necessary resources for a contract of this nature. The contract will commence from August 2020 and will run until March 2022, with an option to extend on a rolling annual basis. Any supplier who submits interest must be able to deliver against these timescales. The supplier must be willing to work collaboratively with ScotRail's Human Resources and IT teams and external IT suppliers. If taken through to pitch, the supplier will be asked to show a creative response to the brief issued as part of the tendering process. If appointment, the supplier will be tasked with developing an interactive LMS that would engage, support and develop a wider audience as our current traditional methods have placed barriers to L&D activity due to the need for travel and staying away from home. Our key considerations are:- - 'One-stop-shop' - eLearning content, learning resources and information on the learning offer all in one place - Deliver critical mandatory compliance training via eLearning - Define training matrices and training programs within the platform, to easily assign online training to specified user groups within our large user population - Ensure the completion of, and recording keeping for, mandatory training - Report on system use and training completion - Enable time efficiencies through coordinating and administrating face-to-face training via learning management system functionality - Achieve user engagement with the platform and completion of training - Migrate some current in-house face-to-face training to eLearning or blended learning methods - Support the development of a 'learning culture' and learning communities within ASR The supplier will be required to provide recommendations on implementation and application throughout the process
