2020-05 Emergency Contract for Processing & Treatment of Waste Wood
Notice Description
West Dunbartonshire Council require a competent service provider with the availability and access to a 'Tip Site' in the form of transfer station, bulking facility or material recycling facility within a reasonable and practicable travel distance to carry out the processing, treatment and disposal of Waste Wood arising's from the household waste recycling centres (HWRC) and Building Services arising's in a compliant manner which is estimated to be in the quantity of 1500 tonnes per year. The waste wood may require further segregation and/or sorting prior to treatment to ensure best capture of recyclate as a resource. The Council is looking to reopen the HWRC on the 1st June 2020 after closing them on the 23rd March 2020.
