Online Catering Ordering System
Notice Description
Provision of Online Catering Ordering System
Lot Information
Lot 1
The Catering Department of ACE currently operate an Online Catering Ordering service. This service is available exclusively to University staff. It allows registered users to order food and beverages for delivery to a number of approved University buildings. In addition to placing an order, a customer can also edit and cancel and order (or part of an order) online up until a pre-defined cut off time. Given the geographical location of each building there are a number of catering providers (or kitchens) who manage, prepare and deliver the online orders. This is a 1:1 relationship, i.e. a building will link to only one catering provider. The current system has had limited development since 2008 and is now unable to deliver what our customers need and expect in terms of look and feel and functionality. ACE are looking to procure a fully configurable off-the-shelf Online Catering Ordering solution with a provider that has vision and development roadmaps that look to the future. The winning supplier must have a well-established solution with strong service and support activity within the UK and, furthermore, they must be able to demonstrate a strong record of sales across a wide range of sectors to include catering / hospitality.. Economic operators maybe excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland)Regulations 2016. Regulations 2015
Renewal: Two further periods of twelve(12) months at the sole discretion of the University
